A passerby recently spotted a dismantled sign belonging to the Liberal nominee for the Long Range Mountains, Gudie Hutchings, at the intersection of Route 436 and 437.

As of September 2, it has since been repaired. Under section 325 of the Canada Elections act it states that it is illegal to vandalize, remove, or move election signs: “No person shall prevent or impair the transmission to the public of an election advertising message without the consent of a person with authority to authorize its transmission.” The Gudie Hutchings campaign team did not wish to make a comment.
