Multiple impaired drivers arrested in Labrador

Three impaired drivers in three different Labrador communities were arrested during the April 11-13 weekend.

On Friday, April 11, at 10 a.m. The RCMP in Nain was given a tip that a man had left the local gas station on his snowmobile and was impaired. Based on the tip, the RCMP investigated and arrested a 43-year-old man for impaired driving. He will be appearing in provincial court at 1:30 p.m. April 14.

On April 13, shortly after 12 a.m., a 53-year-old man in Happy Valley-Goose Bay was arrested for impaired driving after his vehicle was pulled over on Hamilton River Road. He will be appearing in Provincial Court at a later date.

At 1:30 p.m. the RCMP in Rigolet was advised that a man in the community was driving a snowmobile while impaired. After investigating, The RCMP arrested a 66-year-old man for impaired driving. He too will be appearing in Provincial Court at a later date.
