Fogerty, likely best known for his performances with Creedence Clearwater Revival, will be performing at Mile One, Nov. 7 and 8, with shows beginning at 8 p.m.
Tickets for the Nov. 7 show range from $25 to $133.50 (including tax and applicable surcharge) and will be available at the Mile One Centre box office, by calling (709) 576-7657 and online at mileonecentre.com, evenko.ca and livenation.com.
This tour celebrates 1969, the year in which Fogerty wrote and produced three seminal albums with Creedence Clearwater Revival: “Bayou Country,” “Green River” and “Willy and the Poor Boys.”
After Creedence Clearwater Revival called it quits in 1972, Fogerty embarked on a solo career, with hit singles including, “Rockin’ All Over the World,” “The Old Man Down the Road,” “Centrefield” and “Rock and Roll Girls.”
1997’s “Blue Moon Swamp” earned Fogerty a Grammy for Best Rock Album. Among his many other honors are induction in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame, the BMI Pop Music Awards’ prestigious BMI Icon and Performance Magazine’s ‘Theater Tour of the Year’ Award. In addition, Fogerty and "Centerfield" were honoured during the 2010 National Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies.
