CONNE RIVER, NL - Education and Early Childhood Development Minister Dale Kirby will be bringing some reading material with him for the grand opening of St. Anne School in Conne River on Wednesday.

According to a news release from the province, Kirby will introduce award-winning author David Alexander Robertson’s Indigenous graphic novels during the event.

Robertson, who is of Cree heritage, has won multiple awards for his writings on Indigenous culture and traditions, including one about Shawnadithit, the last-surviving Beothuk.
