Dear Editor,

I am writing you regarding a recent article published in the Nor'wester entitled “Eyes on Tourism – Make it a Terra Nova Weekend.”

Unfortunately, the article may have included inaccurate information regarding recreational activities and visitor services available at the park during the winter season. I would like to provide some clarification for your readers.

Parks Canada recently aligned the season and hours of operation at national parks across Canada, including Terra Nova National Park, to better reflect patterns of visitation. As a result, visitors to these national parks will find that services and facilities are limited during the winter months.
