The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is still looking for a driver who fled from police officers attempting a traffic stop Tuesday.
Around 11:a.m., the RNC says officers observed a vehicle headed south on Shaw Street in St. John's at a fast rate of speed.
They were going initiate a traffic stop when the vehicle turned east on Topsail Road and became wedged between a snow plow and a parked car.
The suspect forced the vehicle between the plow and car causing minor damage to those vehicles but moderate damage to the suspect's vehicle.
The officers were unable to follow the vehicle and lost sight of it. A short time later, with the help of witnesses, the unoccupied vehicle was located in the area of Waterbridge Road.
There have been no arrests at this time.
