The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has confirmed a 65-year-old man has died after a workplace accident at Mile One Harley off Kenmount Road in St. John’s.

Another worker in the same building has told The Telegram that a man was putting up Christmas lights inside the Harley dealership when he fell from a scissor lift. The man's condition is unknown, though the accident appears to be somewhat serious.

RNC forensics and The Salvation Army were spotted on scene along with the St. John's Regional Fire Department superintendent.

One plain-clothed woman was hugged by Harley personnel and brought through a side door.
