Sparky joins the Springdale Fire Department

Sparky the Fire Dog® has joined the Springdale Fire Rescue department in its fight against fires.

Sparky is the newest member of the fire prevention program, and will be helping get fire safety messages out to young residents of the Springdale area. Sparky is perfect for teaching fire and life safety to children. He will make the department’s public education and fire safety programs more fun and effective.

Sparky’s first job with the department was at the Springdale Santa Clause Parade in December. 

Springdale Fire Rescue was able to acquire Sparky with a donation from the Springdale Forest Resources.
