Coachman’s Cove comes together again for Huntington’s disease fundraiser

COACHMAN'S COVE, NL — Each year, the people of Coachman's Cove and area come together to share the battle against Huntington's Disease and support the Barker family that has been devastated by it.

The Ryan family — John and Karen with Brooklyn and Broady walk the 5th annual Barker’s Battle Huntington Heroes Run held in Coachman’s Cove Saturday.

The disease with a hereditary connection to the equivalent that a family member has a 50/50 chance of having it has obviously impacted this family to unimaginable lenghts.
The 5th annual "Barker's Battle" Huntington Heroes Run was held Saturday. About $20,000 was raised.
