Five schools participated in the 2013 School Sports NL Central West Table Tennis Provincial Qualifier hosted by Cape John Collegiate, La Scie on Saturday, February 9. Participating schools included: Dorset Collegiate, Pilley’s Island; Indian River High, Springdale; Baie Verte Collegiate, Baie Verte; St. Peter’s Academy, Westport; and the host school Cape John Collegiate, La Scie. Congratulations to all student-athletes for a fine, competitive, sportsmanlike performance.

The Dorset Collegiate Huskies walked away with the Team Banner, as well as some individual achievements including:

Boys Singles – Kris Fudge (GOLD)

Girls Singles – Brianna Warren (GOLD)

Boys Doubles – Nicholas Callahan and Brandon Roberts (BRONZE)

Girls Doubles – Amina Roberts and Samantha Morey (GOLD)

Mixed Doubles – Kris Fudge and Brianna Warren (GOLD)

Good luck to all Huskies players and all NL table tennis qualifying players as you compete in the School Sports Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Championships hosted by Dorset Collegiate on February 22-23, 2013.
