In the final match of the day, the Ravens prevailed over the Wildcats in three sets; 25-10, 14-25 and 15-10.

Coach Clint Gaudon was pleased with his team's effort, especially four Grade 7 students who comprised half of this year's team.

"I thought the skill level was the highest it's been in a number of years now, as evidenced in the closeness of all the games," he said.

Sportsmanship awards were presented to Shane Haas of the Cobras, Jasper Dicks of the Wildcats and Dylan Downey of the Ravens.
