It was a fun filled day of soccer at Baie Verte Academy last Friday, Nov. 2 as students in Grades 4, 5 and 6 at Hillside Elementary in La Scie visited to participate in a day of soccer competition, sponsored by the School Sports Newfoundland and Labrador, for the program Participation Nation. All participants received their Participation Nation flag, which will be used to collect the different sport designated pins. Soccer pins were available to all students that took part on Friday.
