The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is requesting the public’s assistance regarding a break and enter and is issuing a public advisory regarding an incident at a local vet clinic.

Thieves broke into the Avalon Animal Hospital on Logy Bay Road Sunday morning about 10:00 am and stole two safes containing a large quantity of drugs of mostly narcotics, and also prescription pads. The RNC is concerned about the types and quantity of narcotics stolen and consider their potential availability on the street to be a public safety concern.
