Connaigre Peninsula to get broadband internet

Rural Development Minister Terry French has announced that the province is teaming up with the federal government and Bell Aliant to provide broadband Internet to the Connaigre Peninsula.

The announcement will add high speed infrastructure to more than 2,000 homes. It will also add service to the Conne River first nation's community.

French was joined by Sen. David Wells, Miawpukek First Nation Chief Misel Joe and Geoff Davis, regional vice-president of sales with Bell Aliant.
