St. Alban’s Lions receive international recognition

Under the leadership of King Lion Conrad Collier of the St. Alban`s Lions Club (2012-13), the Lions and Lioness Clubs came together to combine their efforts to better serve their community and to carry out the aims and objectives of Lions International.

The St. Alban's Lions recently received international recognition for their community involvemnet in 2012-2013.

To demonstrate his appreciation for the efforts of the St. Alban`s Lions Club, Immediate Past International President, Lion Wayne A. Madden, has presented to the St. Alban`s Lions Club a banner patch in appreciation of the Club`s efforts.  Additionally, he sent Lion Conrad Collier a crystal-encrusted pin in recognition of his leadership efforts.  Lion Wayne Madden stated, “It is clubs like yours the exemplify the Lions Mission Statement: To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs.” This is the second International award for the St. Alban`s Lions Club for the year 2012-13.  Earlier in the year, International Wayne A. Madden had presented to Lion Conrad Collier a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of the Club’s distinguished achievement in fulfilling the mission of Lions Clubs International.
