The RCMP arrested two impaired drivers in central Labrador over the weekend.
In the early morning hours of Feb. 15, The RCMP in Sheshatshiu discovered a vehicle stuck in the snow. Inside the vehicle, a 28-year-old man was found asleep in the driver’s seat.
The man will be appearing in Happy Valley-Goose Bay Provincial Court on March 25, facing a charge of impaired driving and impaired driving over 80 mg.
At 11:15 a.m. in Happy Valley-Goose Bay that same day, a 55-year-old man operating a snowmobile on Paddon Road was arrested during a traffic stop.
The RCMP also charged him with impaired driving and impaired driving over 80 mg. He will be appearing in Happy Valley-Goose Bay Provincial Court on April 16.
