Environment Canada says snow is going to be continuing into Monday, with a break on Tuesday, but more snow expected for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Winds on Monday are expected to gust up to 80km/h, causing a lot of blowing snow and poor visibility conditions.
The Department of Transportation and Works is saying that visibility on the Baie Verte Peninsula and Green Bay South this morning is poor, and roads throughout the region are snow covered with drifting in open areas.
The Trans Canada Highway from Grand Falls-Windsor to Hampden is also snow covered with drifting sections, and visibility is poor there as well.
