Green Bay - White Bay is in a blizzard warning stage today, according to Environment Canada.

According to the Weather Office, fresh snow and strong winds is causing low visibility in many areas.

Freshly fallen snow, cold temperatures and strong northwesterly winds are combining to reduce visibilities to near zero in blowing snow. Conditions are forecast to improve by noon for all areas. Wind gusts of 100 km/h are expected for the Northeast Coast this morning. Further snowfall accumulations of 5 centimetres are forecast this morning.

Many driveways are being shovelled and plowed this morning as well, because of a snowfall last night and drifting today.

According to the Department of Transportation and Works, driving conditions are poor this morning, with little visibility.
