Inger Tollefsen is escorted out of provincial court in St. John’s Monday, a day after she reportedly stabbed another woman.
Inger Tollefsen, 46, was back in provincial court in
St. John’s for what was supposed to be a hearing to determine if she would be freed from jail.
Instead, she and duty counsel Jane Fitzpatrick opted to set the case over for another few weeks.
Tollefsen returned to jail and is due back in court Jan. 29.
She’s charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
She was arrested following a reported stabbing incident at her house on Cowan Avenue. The 47-year-old victim — who reportedly lived with Tollefsen — suffered serious injuries.
