Six males, ranging in age from 17 to 41, have been arrested and are facing an assortment of charges.
The Marystown District RCMP charged the men with numerous violations including break and enter, break and enter to steal a firearm, possessing firearms knowing they are stolen, trafficking in firearms, possessing property obtained by crime and trafficking in property obtained by crime.
Four of the males were released with a pending court date, one has a bail hearing schedule for this Friday, Aug. 30 and one has been denied bail.
The police received a complaint of a break entry and theft Aug. 15 at a residence in Marystown. The investigation found the residence had been entered at least six times over the course of approximately a week and a large quantity of property had been stolen.
Take was a motorcycle, three shotguns, a guitar autographed by the band ‘AC/DC’, an assortment of tools and personal items. The motorcycle, shotguns, some tools and personal items have been recovered.
The RCMP say the investigation is continuing with further arrests expected.
