Boat reported stolen near Grand Falls-Windsor

Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP are investigating the disappearance of a boat that was reported stolen overnight Friday.

According to a news release issued Saturday, it was stolen from the shoreline at Sandy Point near Grand Falls-Windsor. It is described as a 14-foot aluminum boat, hand-painted throughout the interior with a dark blue colour and red on its sides.

Police are asking anyone with information about the boat’s disappearance to call 489-2121 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Anonymous tips can be provided through the Crime Stoppers website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
