Nearly $10,000 awarded to Baie Verte Peninsula students

For the past 20 years, high school graduates from the Baie Verte Peninsula have had the opportunity to apply for post-secondary scholarships through the Baie Verte Peninsula Scholarship Fund.

This year’s award ceremony took place at Copper Ridge Academy on December 22, 2011. $9500.00 was presented to university and college students who graduated from schools on the peninsula.

Category A Scholarships

The scholarship fund thanks all sponsors who continue to donate on an annual basis. It is through their generosity these deserving students can be helped with their educational expenses.
