Tickets on a Gerry Squires' painting called View of Morgans’ Cove are now available at the Cupids Legacy Centre
The Cupids Legacy Centre has added “art gallery” to the list of reasons to visit this summer and fall, with an installation of works by noted Newfoundland artist Gerald Squires.
Eight works in a range of media are now on display (and available for purchase) at the centre, which also houses a museum, shop, archaeological laboratory, and an archival family resource centre.
“We were extremely pleased that an artist of the calibre of Gerald Squires agreed to be our first exhibitor,” said board chair Roy Dawe. “He also donated the new oil painting called View of Morgans’ Cove to assist the Legacy Centre’s fundraising efforts.”
The gallery space is open to the public (no admission required) seven days-a-week, during the Legacy Centre’s operating hours. The Squires exhibit will be mounted through the fall.
