Workers on the Hibernia Platform with Hibernia Management and Development Co. (HMDC) participate in a Safety Training Observation Program (STOP). It encourages workers to watch out for each other, record safe and unsafe acts while on/off duty on STOP cards and submit them to the safety department. HMDC makes a generous donation for each card submitted. Workers then choose a charity every quarter to receive a donation from the funds raised. Autism Society, Newfoundland and Labrador (ASNL), was chosen for this past quarter and presented with a cheque for $6,801 by Colin Hicks on behalf of his co-workers.
